We are now offering a photography tip jar, if you wish to purchase any photo art or pay for any other photography services, e.g. family, wedding, by credit card.
For any digital file in our Photo Art series, there is no set amount to pay. You decide what you would like to tip. The high resolution photo file will be emailed out to you. You can pay for your art either by internet banking or credit card. If you wish to pay for our photography sessions and weddings via credit card, you can also use the tip jar links and adjust the quantities to the right amount, or we can invoice you through PayPal. Credit card payments are made through PayPal in New Zealand Dollars. In the last year, a whole bunch of cool magazines have popped onto the shelves at the local Ngongotaha Post Shop. I really really like them, and spend a bit more than I should on them.
My faves are:
I like them because:
Calico Jo - Granny Square Extraordinaire So our photography road trip is on 10th August (Saturday) from 9am to whenever.
Anybody and Everybody is welcome!! We are starting at Countdown Fenton St, and it's 'spin the bottle rules'. If you don't know what those rules are is the link: http://www.calicojo.co.nz/2/post/2013/06/how-to-do-a-spin-the-bottle-photography-road-trip.html To also add some fun to our day I've made up 5 photographic/film shots we have to do as a group along the way. Here they are:
That is all. Calico Jo This little boy was only 6 weeks old but he could really rock those poses. He was great! Here are some highlights from the photo shoot. Just click on a photo to see a larger image. Calico Jo
This Summer is going to be busy. I am after someone who may be interested in being a back up second shooter for weddings when Jaxon is not available. It's probably not going to be very often. Also someone to help out with photo editing over the summer months as well. If you can do both, even better!
It will be paid work, but I can give training too, so if your a student or an enthusiast drop me an email. I'm thinking most Wedding Photographers out there are very busy themselves over the summer time, but if anyone is interested, can you email me at: calicojoni@gmail.com with your rates. Calico Jo Competition now closed - Thank You for your entries!
entries close July 31st 2013So if you haven't heard from the Calico Jo's Facebook Page, Synta our studio photographer is off to Sth America to live! She is starting up her own photography business there, "LadyBird Photographs". We are now working in with a Videographer, Lorne!!! Lorne has been some media videography work and we bumped into him awhile back while he was filming a wedding. We really like his modern style and he is a great fit with Calico Jo's. So we have some new Photography/Videography packages to offer for: Engagement/Save the Date sessions, Weddings, Commercial, and Events. They are all on our update website, so go check them out! The Youth Centre are holding their House of Horrors again, starting Thursday this week, and the Youth Centre Photography Club have helped put together a scary beginning to the tour. I was very proud of the effort they put into this. A few from the club will also be helping photograph the Fire and Ice festival happening at the moment. So if you see them at the Night Market and the Outdoor Movie, make sure you flash them a smile and a pose. We are also doing a photography day trip on Saturday 10th August, and will have the Youth centre van, trailer and a bbq, if you want to join us. The more the merrier!! We would love more teens to come and join our photography club too. Next term we are covering: HDR, black and white, stop motion and we will be doing "Swap Our Cameras" photo trip. Keep an eye tomorrow!!!!!
We have an awesome competition to run!! |
