The couples kiddies were the flower girl and page boy. These are their outfits for the day.

Held on the farm at Rerewhakaaitu.
The wedding was a real close-knit family and friends event, with a heap of fun thrown in.

Danielle's Floral Beauty Shoot

Danielle liked the pink coloured cheesecloths for her beauty shoot.
So pink made me think florals and then I remembered an illustration I love in a vintage story book.

The illustration is from an old Hans Christian Anderson fairytale book, illustrated by Jiri Trnka.
The story; 'Little Ida's Flowers'.

I love the oversized flowers, the vintage look, so this became the inspiration for Danielle's beauty shoot. I took along flowers from my garden and told Jessica our hairstylist to put as many as she could into Danielle's hair. I wanted the photos to be a mixture of Danielle's natural beauty and then some illustrative vintage looking, arty photos.
