As part of the Rotorua Art's Museum school holiday programme, I got to spend a few hours playing, I mean teaching, with a class of young creatives.  There was around 15 kids and I gave them the creative challenge of producing a photo series.  The photos either had to be themed or tell a story.  They had to first draw up some ideas on paper and I brought along my suitcases of props for them to use if they wanted.  

They did really well with a few nature series, a wedding story, and plenty of whacky hair!and were a lot fun.  We had a slideshow of their work at the end the day.  Here is some photos of took of them.

Introducing Baby Bree!  This little girl was only born on the 9th of this month (April).  With all that gorgeous hair and her expressive face, she looked a lot older.  She did really well.  I had to snap the last photo though, Bree and her brother Blake's expressions were priceless. Here is a quick peek into some of the photo shoot.

Last week I photographed the Santa Maria Motel.  This motel is real cutesy.  White roses at the front, flower boxes, and a cute as, rustic cottage.

The hotel is also home to two dogs and a rabbit.

Had a good laugh with this photo sitting.  This little girl was action packed and wanted to explore everything.  She even made sure all the buttons on my camera were working.  Loved her facial expressions as I followed her around and grabbed some 'as it happened' shots.  This is one happy little girl :)

We started outside, but look at the lake.  You can't even see Mokoia Island.  It was so grey, you could barely tell the water from the sky.  So after a few outside family shots in the drizzle, we jumped inside the studio.

The Auckland family were staying over, so before it poured down with rain I took some family photos.
