The relationship between Grandparents and Grandchildren with this photo session actually made me feel a little weepy.  The kids faces just lit up when they saw their Nanny and Poppy.  Having the Grandparents there made the whole session interactive and fun for the kids, and the loving relationship really showed through in the photos.

The photo session is done at the Centennial Park, Rotorua.  The Autumn colours are gorgeous at the moment.

What I love about 'Friendships' photo sessions:

• Friends play off each other and are fun and lively.
• With kids and teens, we ban the parents.  The result is the kids and teens act themselves and the portraits reflect that.
• The memories they will provide for those friends in years to come.
• It is a great way to divide up the cost of image purchases with the other families involved.

In this Friendship session there is 3 families of friends and siblings.   It was raining, but they were still keen to go out and play.  Here are some of my faves.

As it was evening when we started, it was getting quite dark, so we took some last shots before we called it a night.
